Polypropylene Pipes and fittings PPRT

The Rostherm system of PPRT pipes is pipes and fittings made of thermally stabilized polypropylene PPRT, an innovative polymer material that is more resistant to high temperatures and pressure, compared to conventional PPR (polypropylene random copolymer). These pipes and fittings can be used both in water supply systems and in heating systems - the warranty service life exceeds 50 years. Polypropylene pipelines do not rust, do not change the taste or color of water and are easily installed.

  • Material (fittings and unreinforced pipes): PPR (polypropylene random copolymer)
  • Material (for reinforced pipes): PPRT (heat-stabilized polypropylene)
  • Coefficients of linear expansion: 0,15 mm / mS / 0,035mm / mS (for military pipes)
  • Service life (in accordance with GOST 52134-2003): more than 50 years

Advantages of PPRT pipes in comparison with traditional materials

  • Absence of corrosion and overgrowth
  • Light weight
  • High chemical resistance
  • Environmentally friendly product
  • Minimum loss of hydraulic resistance
  • Does not conduct wandering currents, dampens noise and vibration
  • Needs less insulation due to low thermal conductivity
  • PPR pipes have a smaller wall thickness, with the same technical and operational properties
  • Quick and easy installation

Pipes Rostherm FRP from thermally stabilized polypropylene PPRT, reinforced with fiberglass, is the most advanced solution for hot water and heating systems. Compared to conventional PPR, the crystal lattice of PPRT has a different molecular structure (more bonds), in which smaller crystals are formed, but in a larger amount, which are denser, which makes it possible to achieve the same technical and operational characteristics with PPR with smaller pipeline diameters. That allows you to significantly reduce costs in the construction of engineering systems.
